I decided that instead of buying a new pair of the Oakley M-Frame glasses for shooting, I am going to buy a pair of the Oakley Half Jacket XLJ glasses from a friend.

They are in like-new condition, plus they come with 2 sets of lenses -- Black Iridium for outdoor ranges and a Clear set for indoor ranges.

My friend, however, has no idea how to change the lenses.

He can't find the paperwork / instructions that came with the Oakleys.

Does anyone know how to change the lenses in the Half Jacket XLJ model?

 :uhoh:

Thanks...

I was going to recommend them but thought you were set on the M-frames.

The XLJs are great! Skip the black ones and get them in CARFIBPAT!

Thanks for the info!

By the way, Skunk -- what the heck is: CARFIBPAT ???

:what:  :what:

CARFIBPAT

CARFIBPAT = Carbon Fiber Pattern :)

"And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. One of them said 'come and see' and I looked, and behold, a two-tone varmint, and his name that said on him was 'Skunkabilly'. And carbon fiber followed with him."

Of course CARBON FIBER PATTERN, Skunk...I should of known -- my bad. :neener:

The pair I am buying has a Gray with Black accents color frame with the Black Iridium lenses -- plus an extra set of clear lenses.

Perhaps, one day, a future pair of my Oakley will feature the CARFIBPAT -- you never know!

:scrutiny: :what: :scrutiny:

I hope that Oakley will someday come out with a CARFIBPAT SI Boot -- now that's what I would call TACTICAL.

I'd be all over that like stink on kimchi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did see some CARFIBPAT Oakley shoes once...they are discontinued though :(

Dang, I wanted those carbon fiber Oakleys, but then I'd be accused of copying the Skunkmeister! :(
