Can anyone please help me to inlet this stock blank i have I've never done one and I don't know what I need. I have been woodworking for over 10 years now so I'm not new to that I've also been doing custom stock work and would like to expand to to doing everything from a blank. Any help would be much appreciated and thank you for your time.

What kind of gun are you asking about??
It would help to know.

You will need:
Small sharp wood chisels, scrapers, a Dremel, action guide screws for bolt actions, and Prussian blue.

Basically, you start with the guide screws and the two holes drilled for the guard.
Then paint the action & barrel with Prussian blue.
Try fit, and start removing all the wood that has Prussian blue transfered to it.
Continue trying and removing wood until the barreled action is fully inletted into the stock.
Then turn it over and inlet the trigger guard.

Here is a link to fitting a lever-action stock.

Here is one for a bolt action.

Basically, it is just removing all the wood, in very small slivers, that doesn't look like a rifle stock.
