How to spruce up an indoor range?

Someone breifly mentioned this already but I want to emphasize it. Get some posters from Oleg. Someone also mentioned the opportunity to attract more women to the sport. Many of Oleg's posters seem to carry themes and ideas that would definitely reach that demographic while not even slightly turning off traditional shooters.

Nothing wrong with wanting to spruce up the place a bit. Too many ranges are not what I would call nice places to take someone. I took my wife out shooting for the first time the other day, and while she enjoyed the shooting I think the range was a little much for her. I would try to paint the walls something other than white. Perhaps a soft gray, all white to me seems like a bleak hostile enviroment. Also to break things up a bit perhaps a stripe or two down the wall in school colors. Lighting is a must. I always thought the best way to light a range so as not to lose too many fixtures to people that cant aim would be have recessed can lighting over the booth, and flood lights mounted on the front of the booth pointing downrange(this would also prevent illuminating overhead tiles thus hiding any damage). Also a clip of some sort mounted on the side of the stall to hold targets before shooting them. At least have stools for half of your booths, and perhaps a shelf or two under the shooting bench to place your range bag, and other gear (I hate leaving it behind me when others are on the range and I cant see my gear or guns). And clean restrooms, I have seen bathrooms at ranges that would make Stephen King have nightmares.
