Cashier's check or money order, usually. I have taken many personal checks from buyers with no problems, ever. I also have an upfront notice that I hold the gun for two weeks after receipt of payment to ensure the check is good. While I have not sold on THR, I have sold a big bunch of my personal guns online and this would apply.
