As some of you know, my girlfriend has a Heckler & Koch P2000 9mm with the LEM trigger, and after shooting it, I fell in love that pistol. As such, I've been looking for one for me (I was hoping to find a .40) and two nights ago, found a local seller with an P2000 9mm for $600.
Met him yesterday and bought it. AC date code, with fresh Meprolight night sights, LEM trigger (unmodified - replaced the trigger reset spring yesterday for $6), three magazines, 100 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 124 grain +p and 100 rounds of Fiocchi 115 grain FMJ ammo, and a Blade Tech belt holster - for $600! Pistol has less than 500 rounds through it and the finish is impeccable; no holster wear or dings whatsoever.
The P2000 is one of those pistols that brought back my 'wow' factor after shooting it for the first time and punching out the center of a target at 7 yards. Love the lightened LEM trigger, the short reset, the ergonomics, and Heckler & Koch's reputation for quality and reliability. I think it makes it worth every penny I paid, and then some. NIB around here is $759 + tax; I think I did pretty well today if I don't say so myself.
Range trip and full on bath due later today.
