With robotics advancing in such leaps... what's the best way to win a confrontation with a robot? If a firearm, what and how? If you assume the robot will faster and more accurate, are there any options beside retreat and ambush?

Links attached to prove this stuff isn't science fiction, walking robots, running robots, navigating robots, armed killing robots.

CROWS turret counter-sniper application

The acoustic system provides azimuth, elevation, range, caliber, miss distance and GPS location of sniper fire. Then, the weapon turret on the truck, called the common remotely operated weapons station, or CROWS, swings the thermal imager or day TV to the source of the fire for positive identification and targeting.

IOW the robot hears a shot and in the blink of an eye has the shooter in it's cross-hairs. Currently a human needs to be in the loop and click 'ok' for the robot to fire, but...

Maybe I'd use a .22 long rifle, but put it in your hands.:neener:

US Air Force Predators and Raptors are also types of pilotless robots as you described, even though humans are at a GCS (ground control station) in real time. If you don't remain concealed from the robot, there aren't very many options, are there?
