I am looking for a Badolier Style Holster for a Ruger New Super Blackhawk
.44 magnum 7 1/2" barrel with a Leupold 2x20mm Scope. Does anyone have any experience using this type of holster, if so, how do they function. I want something I can carry on my chest. Thanks for the help.

Try Simply Rugged. I have no first hand experience with them, but they seem to be very popular with those that carry the big revolvers.

If I remember correctly my Freedom Arms 83 was about same size as what you have. Look at accessories offerings at Freedom Arms site. I'm not sure who makes their leather for them but it's quality stuff and price in not unreasonable for what you get.

I have a friend with a holster from Diamond D Custom Leather. He uses a Ruger SP101 .357 with it, and absolutely loves it. Very adjustable. The holster quality is excellent from what I have seen.

I have to second the Diamond D holster.
I use it for my .44 and I love it.
