Ruger MK II if you're into the Mauser action, it has the most features; controlled round feed ,3 position wing saftey ala Model70 Winchester, claw type non-rotating extractor, flat bottom receiver with the recoil lug integral to the receiver.
Accuracy on the Ruger MKII is very good to excellent depending on the rifle and caliber and most of all shooter. Out of the box accuracy is good enough for taking game cleanly.
The newer MII's come stock with their new 3 way adjustable trigger that was only priorly available on the Target models. This is one heck of a trigger and I can attest to that as I own a MKII target, and it is a better trigger in my opinion that the Savage Accutrigger of which I own three.
Remington 700, is no doubt the flag bearer of the American grandfather of rifles. Many have been sold and just for the reason plain and simple, they are Good rifles and worth the money , this rifles action serves as the basis of some of the most accurate rifles on the planet AKA Model 40XB, and its clones. More aftermarket accessories have been built for this bolt action than any others. It would be hard to pick a better rifle.
Tikka, I couldn't attest to any thing because I have not held one in my hands, but from testimonials of other shooter and hunters these rifles are known for their Quality, I believe Sako and Tikka are built at the same factory the Sako's have a good rep. too.
The triggers are fully adjustable, and has one of the smoothest actions going.
Even the immortal Jeff Cooper sang the praises of this rifle.
