That beautiful functional gun is my kinda piece and in that fine caliber I covet it greatly. Cngratulations and PLEASE don't cut the stock or scope it! Suck it up like a man and kill what ever walks within a couple hundred yards!

9.3x62mm is becoming fairly popular up here in Alaska. Husqvarna's have always been popular up here since they ALWAYS feed. You did very well on that deal...

The scope aint that close and the recoil is quite manageable.
Fitted the recoil pad today.
Will use it as it stands for this season and after that the stock and pad get a new finish. And I might fit a taller rear sight, exspress style
Some testing today, range time tomorrow.

Alright, Kidz, I'm on a multiple ammo buying kick at the moment (rimfire, shot gun, 30-30, 38SPL, .357 mag, etc etc) but I can't figure out exactly what will work for my '49 Husqy in 8 x 57? Will anything cheap from this page work?

If my memory & research serves me correctly, Husqvarna of Sweden has been making firearms since the late 1600's. But it sure would be cool to go back thru their archives and see if they had made any chain saws or dirt bikes back then as well......

Cool, I would imagine 9.3x62 would be great for larger game from the look of it. Power of 30-06 with a bigger bullet.

Just got back from a 30 day long America Road trip. My C & R was waiting on my coffee table for me. Called the seller of my Husqy (that I bought almost 7 weeks ago) and gave him my info. Hopefully this baby will land on my front porch by Friday. Will post some pics after her first range trip.
