Hi, I was wondering what kind of hydration system most people use/recommend? I would use this for just basic hikes, walks, runs, etc. Anywhere online to buy these at a good price? Thanks!

Another camelbak user here -- they're great! I use mine when rollerblading, and see lots of other bladers using it, too.

Spend the extra twenty or so and get the Camelbak. If you go to Blackhawk Industries, they manufacture hydration systems that are more hunting related and use the Camelbak bladder system. Little more expensive, but they tend to have more pockets and arrangements that make them gun friendly. Just make sure you stay away from any immitations.

Is there any model that you guys can recommend? Something that is still wearable and not too bulky? I was looking at the Hawg. Any place on the net you can recommend?
Really depends on what yoou're going to be doing, and how much stuff you intend to carry. I use the Storm, which is basically just a 100oz. bladder with a OD green cover and some straps. It can't hold anything else.
If you're going to be carrying hiking equipment and the like, get something that has big pockets. The MULE and HAWG come to mind. Or, you can use your own backpack, and get a small CamelBak to stuff in there or lash to the outside.

I use a Camelback "Mule" for hunting and day hiking and I really like it.

Hmm...Maybe someone can help me out with something. I am looking at the Rim Runner and the Hawg right now...both seem to be really nice and would fit my needs. They both carry 100oz. of water, the thing that is confusing me is the dimensions and price. The Specs for both are this -

I don't know current dimensions. When I bought my HAWG, it was much larger than the Rim Runner and had more pockets. What I specifically liked about the HAWG was that I was able to fit 2 reservoirs in it. I usually did one in water in the main reservoir location and then one in the large pocket for Gatorade.
Head over to a hiking supply type place and check them out first hand and see what works best. They are very nice to have.

Yeah I went to a local store today that supposedly carries camelbak...Well I only found the classic and the bladder there(50oz.), so I guess I will have to keep looking.

Even if you get a Motherlode, you can still compress that bad boy down to a manageable size.
I lived off of it in Korea/Japan for 2 weeks, it's big enough for that too

We got Camelbacks issued to us when we went to Kuwait in 95. That thing was a lifesaver. Out on the flightline in 115 degree weather. I loved them then and love em still.

I've had my Camelbak MULE for about 4 years now, and have found it to be just the right size for carrying those things I need at hand without adding too much bulk to my load. I can't recommend anything other than Camelbak from personal use, but I've also heard good things about Blackhawk's systems.
