The LCR is a really neat little gun. I've been completely impressed each time I've gotten to shoot one.

But the Smith is a cool classic, and very very worthwhile. I'd do what I had to to secure it, and fill the LCR need some other time.

I got an LCR in .357 a few months ago. My wife likes shooting .38's in it even tho she has arthritis in her wrists. I fired one cylinder of .357's, and wanted no more of that. It is fine with .38's tho. I got the magnum version for the option of having both rounds, fully expecting to use it for .38's. With only a light bit more weight, I figured it would be more controllable with .38's. Not unhappy with the purchase, but there is definitely something special about a classic S&W snubbie.
