I bet this didn't end well....

I don't know about the target, but I'm guessing the shooter ended up with a headache and a large knot on his forehead.

And lets not forget the lead and bullet jacket fragments in the fingers . Also the shooter doesn't seem to have all that secure a shooting grip on that 1911 .

For this demonstration of bulletproof glass, Alvan Jacobson, whose nickname was "the human target," holds bulletproof glass, and wears a bulletproof vest, just in case, on May 17, 1926.
Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it was Gecko45!

And is that a Hitler moustache that I see?

Or maybe a bloody nose from the previous shot :p
The safety clothing/equipment they don't show is the diaper he's wearing for when he soils himself. Or am I the only one that has that reaction when seeing the muzzle flash of a .45 from the front?

Reminds me of the guy who developed the modern fire suit for race car drivers.

to prove that he made the best product, he put on a suit and was set fire, to come out unharmed, and challenged any other maker to follow suit, non did.

He grabbed 80%+ of the market....

what is that a xylophone around his waist ? There is quite a gap between the glass , and the waist thing...

I bet they both ended up with a sore forehead , dig the grip and stance on that guy :)

"Hey Joe, how's that bullet proof vest fit? Looks good, buddy. Just one more thing, I want you to hang on to this piece of bullet proof glass so we can test it."

"Well, OK...but hold my sign, I wouldn't want anything to happen to it."

Apologies to Bill Engval.

Sincerely,

Prof. A. Wickwire

Betcha there was no second shot from that limp wristed stance.
I see quite an imprint from the rear sight on the pitchers forehead.

I'm sure he got at least a bloody beak out of the deal. Not to mention the eye and ear protection. That would make a great YouTube video!
