This is a combination of two posts I made on the cz forum, I did not get any help there yet with the mag question, so I thought I better try it here. Thanks......... (PRCCCW I saw your reply there, you must have missed the mag info, so here it is.)
I picked up a used P-01 Locally. The add was in Guns America, and it turned out the guy was near me. He had the gun since December, and it had maybe 1000 rounds through it. He said it had only had 4 trips to an indoor range, and it has never even been in a holster. I gave it a good bath, found a cheap high cap for it (I think........ see later in the post), and it took it's place amongst it's brother's. I now have a CZ75 BD, a CZ97 and the P-01. They are a great looking bunch. I need to take a photo.
I picked this gun up for $325.00. I felt like that was a great deal. How did I do?
I saw a 13 round compact mag I found at a local gun shop. It was labelled "CZ75 Compact 13 round". It was just in a zip lock and the label was handwriting.
I found a used P-01 for sale that I wanted, so I went and grabbed the mag before buying the P-01. Great part was that I only paid $25.00. The guy claimed it to be a factory mag, you know how that goes.
The problem I have is that the mag slides in half way till it catches on the mag release. You then have to push the mag release button in to get the mag to go in the rest of the way. When it clicks in to place, the back of the mag is flush, but the front hangs down approx 3/8 of an inch. I did not try loading the mag or seeing how it feeds yet.
Anyone know what this mag is? Did I get the right one?
