Any help in when it was made? I know its a reproduction but its stamped Made In USA on the back and the copper is very heavy. I can barely get it to move with my thumb. I am saying around late 50s to mid 60s or so. DSC03907.JPG DSC03908.JPG

Wow, those have been made in Spain and Italy since the late 50's. so made in USA , maybe a Colt for one of their repro runs, even though the 2nd and 3rd gens were forged in Italy they were finished in the USA and could be stamped as such. I've seen a 2nd gen complete set with a USA stamped flask, but it also had Colt Pat and Hartfrod on it!

Nice, but sorry don't know when it was made.
Made in USA is a definite plus and does lead one to believe older than newer.

"Made in USA" is early but not before the Civil War Centennial of the 1960's. More recent ones are usually unmarked. Ones from Colt are marked Colts Patent but I am not sure where they were made, maybe England. Copper is also indicative of an early model as more recent ones are brass or german silver. The blue boxes are Pedersoli which are all that I have seen available for a while. It would be great to find a "made in USA" copper specimen in its original box. Any true hoarders out there?
