I recently purchased a big box of 7.62x54R. I am not sure what the country of origin is. Guessing Yugo because of the brass case. I figure ill run my question by the good people here at THR. So, question is: Where was it made? Is it good shooting? And how corrosive is it?

There are pages all over the net for ID'ing ammo. I think 7.62x54R.net or something, one of the mosin-nagant pages has all you could ever need to know about your ammo. Dunno the exact address, but I've seen the chart.

Yes, it is Yugo from Privi Partizan. Most often, Yugo surplus is corrosive while their export is usually non-corrosive. Since that is not a hard and fast rule, assume corrosive and clean for it.
