I just spent a small fortune on a Kimber SIS after saving for what seems like forever. I went to the shop for some more 45 ammo (I already shot about 500 rounds through it).

While there I saw a S&W model 36 with the old target grips. I asked to see it, and after examining it I found no model number anywhere on the gun. It was a pre-36 in great condition for $299.

Well.........

I did it again and now I can't buy the scope for my ruger blackhawk I was looking to buy. Anyways, the shop has a range and I fired some FMJs (they were free for buying the gun!) and it was worth it.

At 14 yards, the first few got away from me (the ones to the right), except the one to the head, that was me :D

Was it an original Nickel revolver? Its been replated in the past. (Hammer and trigger should not be plated)
Other than that, NICE score. Looks like it shoots great, definite keeper!
