I'm just a little younger than you, retired, & while my income is not all that great, I have some discretionary $$$. I have no debt, & I'm widowed, so it's just me. The last couple years I've bought quite a few guns. I happen to believe that the value of the dollar falls every day, but these guns I'm buying will never be worth less than they are now. So yes, I'd rather have guns than worthless USD's............

I love it when I get this question. In response, I pick out something they have like a nice car and ask them why they have it. I point out that they don't "need" a sun roof or leather interior or a V-6 instead of a 4-cylinder. Then I ask again why they bought it. I badger them until they answer truthfully; it's because they wanted it. Then I simply say, "Me too."

I always liked flipping that one around, personally.

" Why wouldn't you want a 200HP Motorcycle"

And so forth.

I hope you enjoy your new Revolver. Thats a slick combo, and they feel very good in the hand.

Lots of reasons.

Depending on the bike it might be embarrassing to be seen on it (charges of male menopause, etc.)

Expensive to buy.

Expensive to insure.

Likely expensive to maintain.

I would be getting tickets all the time.

Just how usable is 200HP in a motorcycle? Half that will get someone with great nerve (or no brains) to well over 150 MPH very quickly.

Those are the things that quickly come to mind.
