I don't like sean connery anymore

Why, why, why do people care what celebrities think, do or say? Everytime we even waste comments on these folks we further pepetuate the cult of celebrity worship in our society, a wasteland where our children know more about Brittney, Lindsay, Brad and Angelina than they know about good manners, the history of our country, the Constitution or even basic arithmetic.

An actor from the UK, speaking in the UK, has zero bearing on our Constitutional fight for RKBA. He is, though, a fine actor with a distinguished body of work.
 
Scotland is British, but it is not English. Britain is the island, English is an ethnicity derived from the Germanic tribe called the Angles.

Ego's and career

It's free advertising for him . Gets his name "out there" . People are talking about him . He's not forgotten . I'm somebody , I'm available , hire me , look at me.

I think most of these actors lend their names to these "causes" to further their careers and stroke their ego . "Look at me , I care" . :scrutiny: :rolleyes:
 
Interesting story about Sean Connery and Lana Turner's boyfriend, a mobster named Johnny Stompanato.
In the fall of 1957, Stompanato followed Turner to England where she was filming Another Time, Another Place, costarring Sean Connery, later of James Bond fame. Fearful that Turner was having an affair with Connery, Stompanato stormed onto the set brandishing a gun. Connery managed to land a single punch to Stompanato's jaw and took away his gun. Stompanato was soon deported by Scotland Yard for the incident.[3]

Same goes for Kate Walsh. I really liked her in Grey's Anatomy until I saw the commercial she made for the Brady Bunch. I've never bothered to watched her new show.

Would you trust the opinion of a psychopath or someone that pretends to be someone else? Isn't that what actors are (playing someone else)? That's from Brad Stine and I completely slaughtered it, I can't find my dvd to quote it.
