...and fired 4 rounds of .375 H&H Magnum into a .0.75" group. I decided my loads were useful (.260gr Nosler Partitions, 69.0gr RL15, Rem Large Rifle Mag primers, Nosler .375 H&H Brass). My rifle is a Rem 700 XCR II, glass-bedded and free-floated in a B&C Sporter Medalist stock in Weatherby config.
I needed 3 clicks left at a hundred yards. Great rifle, great load, minimum operator error.
My next range visit will chromo these loads, prepare a range card, be ready for all North American game and African plains game. My next challenge: get 300 gr solids and softs...return to South Africa where I spent the last two weeks taking photos and hunt.
South Africa is wonderful (I spent 6 days in Lhwulhuwe). My best wishes to all the citizens, especially those in the townships.
