I had a Dream...

This is humorous and just a dream (but weird). You can tell I think about guns even in my subconscious... < (Chopped out my stupid dream -22 Rimfire-).... my first thought was gun ownership...>

But the dream addresses something deeper that if laws on mental health are passed and non-professionals can push the right buttons and get you committed or ruled mentally incompetent, then maybe politicians need to tread very carefully in the mental health area.

this is actually pretty big fear of mine as well....

ive always said that there needs to be mental health reform in this country.....but like you said, politicians never seem to be able to do the simplest of tasks without screwing them up and im afraid they will WAY overshoot what needs to be done....and start declaring everyone with any form of mental illness "mentally unfit to own a firearm"....


they need to tread a really fine line, because if people feel they are going to be robbed of rights, or persecuted, or put on a 'list'....then they are simply not going to bother seeking the help they need.....and well have solved nothing at the end of the day.
