Yep. My Marlin 1894PG now wears a little BSA reddot scope on it.
I know I have accused others of blasphemy in the past for similar atrocities, so I figured I would come clean.
Of course, this is all in the name of "improved target aquisition." Honestly!! Just pointing it around the backyard (gotta love living in the sticks) it makes a huge difference is speed. Look, raise rifle, dot on target, squeeze.
Can't wait to get it to the range in a couple of days! Should be awesome.
I'll post pictures later when I get a chance to take them.
Oh yeah, I also passed up a Ruger Super Blackhawk today for $379. I'm only 3-4 paychecks away from that one yet.
