I just got a custom tactical sling for $33 :)

I normally don't post "ads" for people/stuff, but I am so happy with my latest purchase, I figure I'd share.

I just received a custom-made tactical sling from jfowl, one of the Gunboards guys who made it to my specifications after many emails back and forth while I dithered over exactly what I wanted. I've not found a comfortable sling before, and this one really does take the weight out of my dear Bubba, plus it has the added benefit of being tres tacticool! The tacticool look is optional, he has a decent selection of colours of strapping, including camo for those of us who hunt.

For $33 you aren't going to find a better custom sling and I'll be ordering all my modern pattern slings from Jordan from now on and I'm looking forward to seeing how his new single-point patterns turn out.

Thats Exciting!

Thats really exciting man, I too picked up a sling recently from Rocky Mountain Tactical, it's called the Delta Tactical Sling. It includes a single point MOLLE vest sling, a regular single point sling, and a tactical two point quick adjust sling. I payed $38 and they ship for free! I do all my slings with quality stuff... not saying that any other sling maker doesn't, but thse are all made to order,, and not mass produced. I've sold a bunch of them, and everyone I've spoken to has been delighted, which is what I was shooting for to begin with.

All my main straps are 1.5" webbing not 1" like many other tactical slings, so they stay tactical, but are extremely confortable and spread the weight out a lot.

This is all on the side for me, just to fund my gun habits since I can't very well justify to my wife that a 23 year-old needs to be spending rent money on guns and ammo.
