..in my Kahr PM9 and was wondering what to expect in regards to POI, recoil, etc... I really just want to make sure the new pocket pistol will do fine with everything.
~Purchased:
1) 115gr non +P Gold Dot HP
2) 124gr non +P Gold Dot HP
3) 135gr Federal Personal Defense Hydra-Shok HP
4) 124gr Federal (regular) Hydra-Shok HP

Anybody want to take a stab at the questions? Or will all the ammo be too close to call? (115gr seems mighty light.<shrug>)

When Guns & Ammo tested the CZ P-01, the accuracy winner was the
Federal 135 gr load. ANyone carrying this load??

I thought that all Jefferson County Cops carried .40 caliber Glock 22's. I was just talking to a guy who had a Glock on his hip alright, but it was a 9MM. His words to me were, "You gotta carry what you can hit with". Then, he whipped out a spare mag and showed me the 135gr Federal PD's he was carrying.<shrug>
"You gotta carry what you can hit with". Ain't it the truth. I broke in my little PM9 with 124gr regular Hydra-Shoks but, it seems to me that the slightly larger 135gr bullets would be better. 135gr bullets are very accurate in my G27.

KR, I just checked and - my HydraShok carry ammo for P95 is 147 grain!!!! I had forgotten they were the heavy fellas!!

The few I had to use to ensure feed and accuracy proved that they were OK. Not sure tho how they would perform ''in extremis''... I am hoping ''adequate''.:p

While i have great dislike/mistrust of the slow 147 gr loads. The 135 might just be the Magical Bullet for 9mm. You never know. seems both faster
and just as.. or more accurate than the 147.

Ever play IGI2? The hero has a suppressed Glock 17. Takes about 4 or 5
well placed shots to kill a bad guy. The gun must have 147s:)
