There were some parts of this article that surprised me.
Then what was that extra $5 for I paid at the gun shop .
Don't forget that safety class you have to take. But I doubt the writer wanted to put the words "safety" and "firearms" in the same sentence.
I was under the impression that Virginia law had been changed to deny guns on any college campus.
I find it disturbing that the media is making up such lies about gun laws in my home state.

The state of Virginia allows people to buy up to one handgun a month without a background check...
Then what was that extra $5 for I paid at the gun shop .
You can carry a concealed weapon after passing a background check...

Virginia law doesn't even prevent taking a gun on campus, though Virginia Tech policy requires all guns to be checked with campus police.
