I need to find a good concealment holster for my EMP. I tried a crossbreed holster, but it didn't fit me well because I'm a pretty thin guy.

Please list good IWB holsters for thin persons, please!

Thank you!

GingerGuy, is that something you have? If so, how well do you like it?

It looks like a good idea for someone like me, in fact, it is similar to what I thought would work for a good idea. Thanks for pointing it out!

I assume that I just google "SmartCarry"?

Okay, after googling and finding the website, that smart carry system won't work for me. I attempted to place my gun where the SmartCarry would have me put it, . . . . and it (not to be offensive) made me look . . . . . . overly excited, . . . . in the . . . . . . . . . . . . .frontal area of my pants. Yeah, . . . not something I am interested in.

Next!!

Being a thin guy is not good for someone who is wanting to conceal a firearm.

Just a suggestion, maybe you've already tried it, but a real pistol belt is supposed to do wonders (I know, I know, but I still I haven't tried it).

I have to tighten up my belt pretty well with my IWB (Don Hume) that I love and I'm 6'4" 175.

My stiffer belts definetly make it fit better. Try tightening up one more belt loop too, usually works for me.

I don't have an EMP but I'm a pretty thin guy and I can conceal my service XD under a t-shirt without a holster (standing straight up of course). I went with a revolver and the smaller grip disappears. Just wondering where you are putting the gun on your body. Are you trying to put it directly on the side of your hip? I find with my thin frame the best place I can conceal is on the posterior aspect of my hip. If you haven't already try this: stand in front of a mirror and put the gun in your waistband with a 15-20 degree cant and slide it around toward your back until the hammer just disappears in the mirror then adjust the cant of the pistol forward until the grip is very tight against your flank; then adjust your crossbreed to have a similar cant and place it in that spot to see how it works.

XDshooter, the crossbreed has already been sent back.

I will try some experiments with placement, as you suggest. I'd prefer not having it too far back. . . around my backside, only because I feel it is too easy for someone to come up behind me and take it. I'd prefer something in the appendix area. But yeah, definitely canted. I may have to come up with something myself.

I had an idea of using something like an "in the pocket" type of holster, and sewing velcro to it and to my pants (at the best position). I may have to get creative.

I got a cheapo Galco sto and go for my Pro Carry. The only place I can carry it comfortably is 10 o'clock crossdraw, but I have quite a spare tire as I'm 6 foot tall and 215lbs. If I had less weight on me, I think I could position it anywhere easily. It only cost $25 on the Galco website. I figured it would be worth a shot at that price. It will get me by until I get my 1911 build finished and can get a VMII
