I am thinking about a Sig P6, but I want to know more about them. I can't rent one and no one that I know has one. So I have turned to my friends at THRs' Forum.

How does it shoot? (compare it to a Glock or XD, what ever it comes close to)

How is the accuracy at 25 yards??? (is it Sig 226 accurate or something else)

How is the construction and fit? (1911 or Kel-tec (no offense))

Can it be carry without the feeling your lugging around a boat anchor?

Specs would be helpful too.

Thanks all

There are at least a dozen threads on the subject.

They are a great value, and the quality is typical Sig. Great.

These are one of the best surplus values most of us have seen in a long time. Buy one and resell it next week/month/year for more than you paid.

Well

I've purchased 3x of them so far. I don't like SIGs, but it is a quality pistol at a good price.

Fit and finish is good. Not a work of art, but definitely well made. SIG wasn't known in the past for their finishes (durability). The slide finish is not particularly durable.

Accuracy is very good. Bowling pins at 50 yards are hittable.
Reliability has been decent. I've had one feed failure

Obtaining parts is a bit sketchy and worries me a bit.

It's a decent carry piece. Not a super compact pistol, but not a boat anchor. Midsize they are.

At $280 all inclusive, they are a good deal. If they were $325+, I probably wouldn't bother with them.

It is a decent little pistol. Not quite fantastic, but I am pleased with them.
