I Need Holster Suggestions????

I am in need of an OWB level II or III retention holster for a G23. I'm not too picky so leather or kydex would be fine (just not interested in the nylon with the thumb break). I'm partial to paddle holsters but not against a belt loop only either. I'd like to keep the "price point" under $70 though. Any suggestions???

For police or armed security i would recommend Safariland. They are about as good as it gets

First ones that come to mind are the serpa, and the Bianchi carry-lok series. Both have paddle and loop options for the compact glocks.

5.11 makes a holster called the Thumbdrive that has been gaining popularity in the shadow of Blackhawk's SERPA platform. I have tried both and much prefer the Thumbdrive as it has a much less obvious release system. There was another active retention holster that I saw from a small company but can't remember it.

I avoid the Serpa, but the Safariland ALS series is very nice with a good retention system. I have a holster from G-Code holsters (their XST model) on the way which as a level II retention holster. I have heard good things about them, but I don't have any first person experience with one yet. And thy have about an 8 week lead time right now.

I have a serpa for my g23. No problems for me. Has attachments for a belt and a paddle

I'm sure these are above your $70 price range, but I also suppose most good Level II or Level III holsters will be above that price range.
