I need reloading data for a 40 s&w with bear creek bullets

Does anyone have data for the bear creek 40 s&w 180gr fp moly coated lead bullets. I am trying to find load data for these bullets using hogdon titegroup powder or clays powder.

Too hot.

I use 4.0 TG (loaded at 1.190 for my STI Edge and 1.130 loaded for my Kahr PM40). This load is not max.

Both of those are a bit fast for anything but light target loads in .40. Use lead data and you will be fine. Have you checked the powder makers website?

I tryed the powder manufacturer and they have no data for a lead bullet in the 180gr.

Have you looked at Lyman # 49? I don't have mine here but I know that the book has a lot of data on lead bullets

Plated data is the same as cast data. There's no cast data for any .40 S&W bullet on Hodgdon's site. Not much cast data anywhere. Contact Bear Creek.
