I need a poster made for my NRA classes and I don't have the ability to do it myself. Here's what I need. If anyone here is interested in helping, let me know.
I need a graphic showing the different types of bullets in loaded cartridges. I'm thinking to use .38 Special as the "example" round for each type. The dimensions don't have to be perfect, as long it "it looks about right."
Imagine the cartridges are set up upright on a counter at eye level and you are looking at them straight on.
I'd need cartridges loaded with: Wadcutter, Semi-Wadcutter, Hollow point (lead), Full Metal Jacket, Jacketed Soft Point and Jacketed Hollow point.
Ideally, I'd like the cartridges to be "cut away" about 1/3 so you can see how far the bullet goes into the case, where the propellent is, and where the primer is.
I'd need labels leading to the case, the jacket (for FMJ, SP, JHP), the lead core, the primer and the propellent.
The pictures can be based on photos or entirely computer generated. Whatever, as long as you can tell what they are. Heck, hand drawn would be fine, if they looked good.
I could draw a simple diagram of what I'm looking for, take a pic of it with my Digicam (no scanner) and post it if that would help.
Anyone up for this? I'd like it as a file I could take to Kinko's and print out poster sized (smallish poster) for my class.
