Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to extend a front sight, I want wider.
It measures 0.115 wide and I would have to 0.125 wide, STI company does not make them larger than 0115, could someone suggest me something, thank for your help.

Yes, i called Dawson, i called all the companies and nobody have one, so that why if someone have an idea ton enlarge the front sight .

How durable does it have to be? You could try putting some JB Weld on each side, then filing it down to whatever width you want and painting it, but I don't know how durable that would be for continual carry and/or extensive shooting.

Thank again for your help, what i really need is front sight .125 x .495 fit dovetail cut .300 x 60 degrees.
I wrote to Dawson and he said i have'nt.

I bought JB weld mastic and i will try to ""customize my front sight.
Once again thank you for your help guys.
 
You need a sight .495" tall?
Wow. I have a couple of taller than usual sights with silver soldered extensions, but go ahead and give the JB a trial.
