So I just took my CZ 75B out to the range this last weekend for the first time this year (you southern shooters have the advantage, you can start shooting earlier in the year unlike people like me clear up here in Idaho) and the thing is still ejecting spent cases in my face! Now it's not doing it all the time, but it does it at least once every 16 rounds.

I am using blazer ammo and some remington ammo (both are FMJ). I have some federal ammo and some winchester white box, would those do any better?

And I am NOT limp wristing it. I am very attentive of that, and I am basically holding the pistol still when shooting (letting my elbows do the work of course)

any suggestions?

Somewhere around here, or on czforum, there are pictures regarding how to modify the ejector to send the cases where they belong. You just need to do some careful stoning to change the shape of the ejector tip.

I had the same issue with my CZ75b SA; about once or twice per magazine it would prong me right in the face with the spent casing. I modded the ejector as per the picture I found and had no further problem. I ended up trading the SA on an SP01, and got lucky there; it doesn't have the issue.

Edit: here you go:

Hope that helps.

I don't know about CZ, buta GLOCK will chuck brass into your forehead if you grip it too lightly (not limpwristing).

Very true with the G19 I owned. With CZ's, shooting Blazer aluminum is usually a bad idea. It likes Blazer Brass and any other brass ammo.
