Some guy was inquiring about getting some breaching attachments for Moss500's but had some particulars about how it was installed since it could interfere with the 37mm launcher mounted on it. Said they use them for bean bags/rubber buckshot occasionally during fugitive recovery I played along, but something about it screamed 'mall ninja'

Here's one of the emails, really odd stuff.

Would you have a slide over piece that we can tighten down? One that will fit up to the back of the original notch but not pass it? Its important that the lower notch not be changed. Nor the newer piece set back farther past the original notches fixed position.

The reason for this is each of our 500a models holds a tactical 37mm launcher on its underbelly. Less lethal munitions such as CS gas and Hornets nest rubber grenades are the perfect munitions for fugitive recovery. The forend pump grip has been modified and extended four inches forward with a weaver rail to facilitate the extra length and weight of the launchers. The extended tube is steel and has a fitted extended slide mechanism for the loner forend so things stay tight and not floppy on the tube. when the grip is in its regular firing position it rests only about a sixteenth of an inch from the mount. Wouldn't want to chance the custom work impeding the movement.

I have finally familiarized myself with the legend of Gecko45 and the origin of the term mall ninja thanks to another thread on this forum. The one thing that struck me was how blatantly over the top stupid gung-ho he was. Nobody could be that pathetic and stupid unless they were purposely trying to.

Yea, that tacticool pepper spray Dog and his team use really qualifies as mall ninja.

ETA - They don't even carry guns... but instead pepper spray. No wonder they wear vests.

This guy's got it all wrong. He needs to mount a PL-8 launcher onto a Streetsweeper. A single-shot 37mm on a Mossy 500 just isn't tacticool enough!

...but it's all good now cause they do God's work by tracking down and capturing the filth of society; poor people down on their luck who fall into the traps of addictive substances, mothers who failed to appear for their court dates because they have jobs to work and mouths to feed, you know, the real vultures of our commonwealth.
