I went to the gunstore today and didn't buy anything!:what:
Can it be cured?
I'm a little worried
I mean, I'm sure i could have found something for a merry Christmas to me present. :D

What's your current inventory like, and I'll see if I can send you a link that'll cure ya . . .

jmm

Just take some Hoppe's No. 9 and spread it on your upper lip, beneath your nose. Inhale for a couple of hours. Go back to gunshop. Guaranteed cure.

:D

I think a trip to the range is in order to get the blood flowing THEN:
The cure is to go right back to the shop and and buy something.

it's about 12 degrees out (F) and lightly snowing.
blood flowing is in fact one of the whole points of going to the gunshop. I figured I could buy something and clean it and fondle it, etc all afternoon.
but nothing.
I"m going to go take my temperature. ;)

I had a couple of guns in mind for a Christmas present to myself.
Had just about decided on one, and then my daughter's college tuition bill and an abrupt invitiation for me to visit the E.R. and the ICU arrived. (The first might have had something to do with the second, eh?)

It looks like I might have to buy myself a birthday gun, instead of a Christmas blaster. (Assuming the medicos have their fingers out of my pockets by then.)

You may be entering a more advanced, sinister stage of the disease. Due to my heavy exposure to firearms over the past several years, I've built up an immunity to most gunstores. Overpriced inventory, surly help, and stock that I've seen a thousand times before simply couldn't best my immune system.

Until I made further contacts in the industry who were carriers of stronger strains of the original plague. By offering me professional service, discount pricing, and pleasant transactions, my wallet is suffering more than ever!

It is my fault

I am really sorry about it, I went to a gun store in Australia about 10 days ago and did not buy a single thing. I think it is a virus, which is why you caught it through the computer. :) Since I have been home I have got a really great cough and sore throat I will trade you for a Lorcin or you can make your best offer.

Mrs. BozemanMT,
You were wondering where your hubby ran off to instead of reloading ammo for you.
I know where he was.

Regards,

Steve

Bribery, blackmail, will outdo youth and skill any day of the week.

BozemanMT,
I'm expecting a package by Tuesday - else the wife finds out. :D

<puts note to the wifey with others on hold awaiting pkgs>

BozemanMT,

There's nothing wrong with you, 'tis the season for giving. For you to feel better, you must give, give, give. And you may as well start with your firearms, and the obvious people to give them to are your friends on THR.:D

Seriously though, I hope you feel better, it may be a tumor.

I know your weakness.

Get thee to Sturgis and let us know if you come back unskinned.

Steve (SM), SHE WAS THERE!!!! It was actually her turn to buy something and she couldn't find anything. So, I don't feel bad. Tomorrow is another week. ;)

OH MY THAT'S PRETTY!!!!!!!!!:what: You do know my weakness.
What is it?
I want one.

I'm reading Michael McIntosh's "Best Guns"
I've learned a ton and I can totally see that it's going to cost me more money. Great book BTW.

You think that's bad? You should try going to two gun shops and a gun show over the weekend with your wife telling you that she'll buy you something under $500, and you let her keep her money!
