Sorry,

Felt like throwing a tantrum; works for my 3 yr old @ times :D .

FYI: received this e-mail from Eric Morris @ CZ-USA regarding the status of the CZ RAMI.
"We are still awaiting approval for the ATF. So looks like late this year or early next year."

Can't wait for this to come out. At least we're getting into cooler fall weather right now and hopefuly the RAMI will be available here in the US for next summer.

What opinion does anyone have regarding calber choice.
Would .40SW be too much for a 810 gram pistol (loaded weight)?

all metal pistol and believe 800 grams is like some 30 oz's so its no lightweight. a kel-tec,glock27,taurus pt140/pro,steyr s40,SA compact XD40 would weigh less due the fact they are aluminum frame/polymer grip and lightweight.

Yeah, kahr also makes the pm40 now, what are they like 15oz? So at 28 oz. the Rami should shoot like a dream in .40. I am patiently waiting  ......tom

Actually its 28 ounces....but Id say its gonna come in slightly less.
The same size K series Kahr is only 26oz and if youve ever shot one of those a considerable amount the weight is a very very nice thing.

The RAMI is gonna be nice because its the only small gun thats Cond 1 capable and its a CZ....both are nice points IMO....now if they can decide who's calender they're gonna release it under....celtic, aztec, germanian.......moon goddess.......?????????????:scrutiny:

The CEO of CZUSA comes back from the meetings in Czech UB today..and may have some updated news for us all once she has time to settle in.

So hang in there..............Shoot well.

Eric,

Assuming you will be making holsters for the RAMI.

How soon will you ba able to do such?
Assuming it passes w/ the ATF.

PS::) on your sig. line.
Can't believe Rush is still going after all these years.
Even though I'm getting old, married, and 2 kids; haven't missed a Rush show since 1981 and hate to stop now.
They are apparently in the studios working on a new album, umm...CD:rolleyes:

Hey buddy :D

As soon as I can get a Rami/mold for one....yours truely will be making everything possible for them. I want one for my own selfish purposes.....of course! :D

And Yes, Rush..after the throat cancer scare :what: I questioned thier future..but are going strong. My absolute favorite group bar NONE!

Best Trio to ever be from anywhere from anytime........IMO.........
I still think their older stuff is the best......kinda like LZep also.

The Plant/Page reunion just didnt do it for me.........:D

Shoot well................

RAMI, Sliced Bread, The Wheel

Yes, we are all waiting for the RAMI. I have accepted substitutes to tide me over.

I've seen RUSH twice but if I hear limelight again I'm gonna PUKE! They were far better earlier in thier careers. You Guys must be older than me cause my generation is the first to really dig old and new music.

I go from Canned Heat to Marilyn Manson. Sinatra to Type O Negative. Niel Young and Crazy Horse to Just plain old Niel Young.

subtitutes...

If you can't wait for a RAMI get a RAP401 if you can find one. I just shot mine again this weekend.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet! It is bigger than what I anticipate the RAMI will be but damn it is one sweet piece of steel. Did I mention it is swwwwweeeeeeeeeetttttttt! 100% reliable. Nothing is more comforting than 100%.

I had to replace springs on my cz75 to make it 100% I'm a true believer in Wolff springs now. Accept no subtitutes.

PCR sorry I pidgeon holed you. It's just that new music to most of my Rush fan friends means STYX, REO, Eagles, Steely Dan, etc.

I should know better. I like classical too but can't remember how to spell Beethoven. Just got Adagio for strings (not beethoven someone else) the other night. Sad but beautiful!

Sign me up for the RAMI list. And put me down for a holster too!
I fell in love with that thing the first time I seen its picture.
The fact that this is coming out finally was why I was even willing to let my Mini-XD go.
As good as the little XD is, it's seriously ugly. The RAMI is actually cute by contrast.

I had read somewhere that the name 'RAMI' was a result of the initials of the two individuals who developed the pistol.
I believe it is was on cz-ub's web site or in a press release.

OT: Musically I used to listen to everything from Black Sabbath to BJ Thomas:rolleyes: .
Of course now I listen mostly to talk radio
Still have a special place ('Closer to the Heart' - sorry) for Rush, Led Zepplin, The Who, The Eagles etc.
