I almost bought a Norinco 1911 for about $400 just because it had trigger/hammer/misc parts gold plated. Black and gold really appealed to me.

Also, the regular table with all sorts of engraved and fancy 1911 slides looked nice.

What other gun have you fancied up? How much did your work cost? Do they wear (gold plating etc).

*edit: not fancy as in price or name of maker, but custom aesthetic elements.

I had a Colt Airweight Commander in .38 Super on which I had my four initials in Old English Script engraved and gold-filled on the slide:

"T T R N."

That was it.

I've often wanted to engrave ""My W'il Fwend," which I've been calling it for thirty-five years, on the slide of my .380.

But now, after carrying it around and shooting it all this time, it's no longer pretty enough to get engraved unless I reblued it.

Otherwise, nothing to brag about.

I set up my 10/22 with a green mountain ss bull barrel, bipod, custom built forgrip, scope and a butler creek folding stock. the scope has a flip up dust cover and a rubber eyepeace. it looks pretty awsome for shooting .22 lr.

I like this AR lower. It's not mine, someone on ARFcom apparently wanted to prepare for zombie invasions with class. And a happy switch.

If you guys need some nifty grips for those toys check out www.2rco.com.
I have considered making golg plated hammers triggers etc. for 1911 anyone think folks would be interested?

That's the factory 30th Anniversary special they made. Check out the gunshow this weekend, they have gone up a little but you still find one for around $500 ocassionally.

Well it is factory Colt but it is about as fancy as I got.
