Very nice. If you'll research the 27s, I think you'll find the 3&1/2" very popular with about everyone. Just about evey soldier, police officer, explorer, world traveler and big game hunter of years gone by favored this size of handgun.

Good looking setup there, content! What type of grips are those? They look comfy and are pretty to boot.

Sorry to hear about your long-barreled 27-2 having issues. I've never pulled grips off before I've bought a gun before, I think I'm going to start.

I wish I could remember who made the grips, they are not marked.
I'd say Herters would be a good guess.
N-frame grips are rare to find in the used grips boxes these days so I'm glad to have them.

When I bought the 3 1/2", a stipulation was the three screws had to turn.
The fellow had a VERY secure grip on that screw driver.:D
