If this thread does not belong in here, I am sorry, just felt it was the right place to put it.
I checked out my local shooting league tonight and it was pretty fun. I shoot at that range, but tonight they set up cardboard targets and I got to watch these guys shoot and be timed and scored. The folks were real nice, and everyone was very helpful. I liked it very much. I met some nice people and got told that one of the guys there was ranked 3rd in nationals(idk what that means in the shooting world, but im gonna assume that its a national tournament)
Anyway, that guy shot like under 8 seconds with 16 shots needed on a stock gun I believe. And he got 14 A's and 2 C's. Was nuts. I am going to get a legal holster and some mag holders and try it out in a few weeks. I was encouraged to take it slow the first few times.

Once you get your USPSA feet wet, you wont look back.

Your shooting ability will be greatly improved.

Having been doing it once a month for a year, I have worked my way up to be a competetive player at my local club.

I agree with Deer Hunter. The only shooting I do now is for USPSA. I am addicted, and I've got my son doing it too.

im not doin all that just yet. Need to setup my reloading first. I've only shot 100 rounds through my gun, and I know that it will be so much cheaper for me to blow 200 bucks on a decent reload setup instead of 200 bucks on a few hundred bullets.

Depends. I spent near 300 or so on my lee classic turret, three die-sets, auto-disk, etc etc. I'll probably make my money back in a few thousand 9mm loads.
