I'm a bit late to jump into the Sin City bandwagon. A friend gave me a copy yesterday and I watched it just now. :D I need some help IDing something, if it actually exists.

Of course, there were guns, and something caught my eye. The gun in question is Hartigan's monster semi-auto pistol which is shown in the driving scene right after he escapes the hanging and again when he shoots two guards at "the farm".

The first shot I managed to get and it looked kinda nonfuntional, but I went through frame-by-frame in "the farm" scene and it does appears to be functional when he fires a round. Theres only about 8 frames worth of the gun in action so it's short, at best. It looks like they might be two slightly different pistols. Where it's on the backseat, it clearly shows a 3 port comp on the barrel and looks longer. Harder to tell in the action scene because of the angle, looks like there is a glint of a 3 comp in the last frame due to lighting.

Is it a real gun or a one-off for Hollywood? Images provided below:

Beretta 93R with some stuff attached to change the appearance off of it, same thing that was used in Robocop.

I don't think it was released to the public, yet... :D Atleast not in the US. With that said, my brother in law has had a copy of it for 2 months now

That gun is also in the comic. Frank Miller drew it that way. Not sure if Robocop came out before Frank drew That Yellow Bastard. However, Frank Miller wrote Robocop 2 and 3.
