I'm a bit late to jump into the Sin City bandwagon. A friend gave me a copy yesterday and I watched it just now. I need some help IDing something, if it actually exists.
Of course, there were guns, and something caught my eye. The gun in question is Hartigan's monster semi-auto pistol which is shown in the driving scene right after he escapes the hanging and again when he shoots two guards at "the farm".
The first shot I managed to get and it looked kinda nonfuntional, but I went through frame-by-frame in "the farm" scene and it does appears to be functional when he fires a round. Theres only about 8 frames worth of the gun in action so it's short, at best. It looks like they might be two slightly different pistols. Where it's on the backseat, it clearly shows a 3 port comp on the barrel and looks longer. Harder to tell in the action scene because of the angle, looks like there is a glint of a 3 comp in the last frame due to lighting.
Is it a real gun or a one-off for Hollywood? Images provided below:
