ID these AR mags

    someone gave me 3 30 rd AR mags. they are grey, and on the bottom it says "kay industries inc, new britian, conn usa"

    are these good mags?

    USGI- manufactured by OKAY (circle K). Good mags..at least when new.

    OKay mags are the good stuff. USGI Issue mags.

    What color are the followers? If black, substitute green followers at a couple of bucks a pop. Better feeding/reliability, IMO. While you're at it, replacing the springs with an aftermarket product like Wolff's will make them better, too.

    OTOH, if they work in your rifle(s), what the heck?!

    I've got a couple of these that I bought at a surplus store a few years back, and they work GREAT !

    One of these days I'll probably be replacing the followers with the green ones and putting new springs in them.. [​IMG]
