Im not sure I like this bill entirely as the Uni's can still prohibit it, and most likely will.

But at least its a step in the right direction especially after the "Constitutional Cary" bill was just put forward.

As it is now the Universities can ban firearms at their own discression. I think this new legislation would take that discression away from them

The bill allows discretion on or within undergraduate housing only.

Aaron Tribble, the 2l law student who filed a civil rights lawsuit in the Idaho 2nd District Court, is a graduate in family housing. This bill, if it becomes law, will moot his case. Aaron is OK with that. Others may not be, but overall, the bill is a good bill.
