Idiot tests bulletproof vest

Looks fake to me. Watch the guy with the gun. No flash, no recoil, trigger finger never moves. Unless he was shot by someone off camera, I'd have a hard time believing it.

I shot up a bullet proof vest the other day....
The bullet appeared to go all the way through in our tests as well.... because the back of the vest was ripped from the impact.... but further investigation proved that the bullet was still lodged in the vest.... it had simply exerted enough energy, concentrated in one spot, to rip the material on the back of the vest....
Had we been stupid enough to put it on a person for testing, that person would no doubt have a similar wound to that found on this moron....
It was an interesting test... but it was just as interesting lying on a dirt mound as if we had put it on some moron.... and it was clear that a test like that would be extremely painful... my guess, they didn't try that first, or they would have noticed the big rips in the back of the vest....
Oh, by the way, the owner of Second Chance, also put a phone book behind the vest to absorb the sharp impact and disperse it..... which is why he doesn't have little holes all over his body....

You have to watch the gun before the sound, because the sound is behind the video slightly. I think it was real, as I saw the slide snap back a nano second before the sound reported.
They were too close. Most Level IIA vest stop a 9mm at 25 yards, that same 9mm at 10 feet will penetrate. I would bet that was a IIA vest with no trauma plate and the round was stopped, but barely. It may not have been. At that range, it is luck if it did stop. Looked like a Win silvertip BTW. I saw the silver slug, or at least it looked like that on my monitor.

I don't fault the dude who took the round to the chest. His IQ level could have been in the 70's or something and he was pressured into doing it by the idiots in the video. I had an uncle that was retarded / Down syndrome whatever you want to call it. People used to do this to him school all the time, until he was removed from school because of this crap. People are evil to that percentage of society.

yeah the sound and vid arnt linked up right when the gun goes off, thats why it looks like there is no recoil when he fires. the gun goes off a second or so before the sound. easy to miss
Very real, very stupid. Looking at the tissue trauma, and vascular reaction time, this looks real. The spot will turn black and heal over to something like a marble sized chicken pock mark. For a long time he will have a massive bruise on his chest as well. Lucky for him the round didn’t hit him between heart beats. That can cause tachycardia and death.

That is just stupid beyond description, anyone having any doubts about whether evolution is real need only watch that.
This was a guy in Texas who wants to be in law enforcement. They had it on the news here a while ago. He wanted to know what it would feel like to get shot with a vest on. It was a real shot. Needless to say, the local sheriff said there is no way they would consider someone with his poor thinking skills. And also, needless to say, there was booze involved.

Wouldn't the idiot who actually fired the shot be in a bit of trouble once they take this kid to the hospital? All gunshot wounds have to be reported to the police.

Obviously, I can't speak for every jurisdiction. It is at least fairly widespread and has been the case in every urban area I've ever lived in. I have to say some rural states may not have such a law.
About a year or two ago, heard on the radio, A guy right here in Indiana had enlisted in the Army...before entering service he wanted to get use to being shot at....so he put on a FLAK JACKET he got somewhere an had his best friend shoot him at point blank range with a .12 ga.....Ya, he's dead, an then they brought up charges against his friend for wreckless manslaughter or something like that...I couldn't believe it....must be where that joke comes from..

Notice that at 8 seconds into the video, the target flashes the "L" for LOSER hand sign. He really should have held the "L" up to his forehead for a few seconds, so everyone would know he is a LOSER.

Unofficially, the bullet missed the jacket by about 1/4 inch and nailed him. He bled out about 10 seconds after the camera was shut off.
He lived in MA.

He sounded like a southern redneck, not a blue-blood yankee. The "Go Longhorns" comment also lends a little more connotation to him being a Texan (though I hate to claim him as a fellow citizen of this great State).
To me, I believe it was a penetration wound - not just a bruise. The blood was flowing pretty good and he was looking pretty sick. That general area is heart & lung area. If it was a real wound and he didn't get care pretty quick, he would be in deep doo-doo.
In addition, the shooter is now criminally liable, as is the doofus with the camera. Three (presumably) lives ruined by booze and stupidity -- ALWAYS a deadly combination.
