If considering first Glock... don't make my mistake

I just do this,,,

But I also did this,,,

and found I now shoot this every bit as well as I do this,,,

and still don't know why eliminating the finger grooves improved my shooting ability with the gun but it did and the jury is still out on this,,,

Because it's my first non 9mm Glock and I do pretty good with it as is but haven't tried all the grip inserts yet.
It is basically the same as this though,,,

Not what I expected to read! I can echo the op to a point, while the g26 is a great shooter, I still believe the g17 is a better " first glock".
