If Glock made the 19 in a single stack would you buy it?

I'm with grimjaw ... Walther PPS. No, its not G19 sized, but its the right size. A G19 is still a big enough pistol to be in the 'concealable' group of med to lrg frame pistols, but its not a 'hideaway.' I don't think the slimdown to single stack is worth the sacrifice in rds. for the 'concealable' group. But with the 'hideaway' type, slim is crucial. The G26/27/33's may be
called 'subcompact', but they don't much feel like it.

I just popped for a fullsize pistol, but the next mini I buy will be that PPS if nothing better comes along.

I don't see Glock coming out with a proper single-stack frame until their stranglehold on the #1 slot for the plasticfantastic market starts slipping.

I’ll take a G26 in a single stack. 6+1 of 9mm +P instead of 6+1 of .380. Maybe even a single stack G27 or G33 but capacity would probably drop to 5+1 on those, or they would have longer mags like G30s compared to G29s. I don’t see much point to a single stack G19.

Would a single stack Glock in 9mm have enough "points" to allow it to be imported? I forget exactly how that score is determined, but perhaps that is the issue. If not, then it for sure seems like a no-brainer.

It was a single stack, from 1994 until the AWB sunset.
Seems I heard the slide couldn't get any thinner because of the mechanics involved with the pistols operation.

i don't know that i would buy one but that is one thing that i think that glock needs to do, they have alot of the market already, but they would really be on top of the world if they did come out with something like that. they would give kahr a run for there money.
