I don't currently have television here, but I'll make a note of it... I'm betting that a friend who does have T.V. will watch it. :)

LOL future weapons

*hunched over the camera, whispering loudly*
THIS IS THE FIVE FIVE SIX ROUND

lol youtube it

There were a lot of middling factual errors and misstatements in the machinegun show, but at least I got to see a Chauchat [attempt to be] fired.

I think a lot of those were his speaking down to the non gunners in the audience. I even wondered how some of the stuff was making it through the editors because a lot of it MIGHT be above the heads of some of the audience.

Having said that, how cool would it be to have a job running around shooting all that cool stuff? I'd do it for free. Lucky SOB!

R. Lee Ermey is a GREAT person all around id suport almost anything he wanted to do
i mean who can forget his famous rolls in any of the movies hes been in from full metal jacket to the newest texas chainsaw massacre

who hasnt cought themselves yelling (even internaly) at someone "What is your major malfunction...."

as for future weapons a friend and i have atheory that Mac will say that whatever the US military uses its going to be the greatest piece of equipment ever used and often joke about the M247 Spoon that can pick up pudding better than any military spoon in the world because if Mac had his way thats how he would tell it

i HATE that show because every piece of sniper equipment he has fired on the show is "The best sniper rifle ever invented" and "i could never make a shot from this far without (insert rifle designation here)" its sad because in the shows opinion an M40 .308 is no different than the barrett M107 (82A1) and whatever is in Macks hands is the greatest piece of kit EVER invented

we could honestly go to war in thong bikinis and equiped with daisy air rifles and we would be the greatest soldiers in the world in Macks opinion

ill take honest firearms reviews over pacifying what we use as the best in show for everything we do

LMAO :D Indeed!

My wife simply hated that guy, though she's also made the comment that Ermey doesn't have an "inside voice" and made the comparison of Bear Grillis's voice to sand in one's eye. If it wasn't for her leniency towards Adam and Jamie, I would think she has a beef with the Discovery Channel in general.

I enjoyed both the show about artillery and the show about machine guns. Very entertaining. The segment on the Chauchat demonstrates what happens when we are forced to depend on our "Allies" for weapons.

R Lee Ermey

I missed last night's episode but will make sure I catch most of 'em in the future.

The gunny rocks.

Semper Fi!

Lee was very nice to my daughter and me when we met him at the NRA show here.

He stated the new show is Mailcall on steriods.

I love how he talks.
