The WASR has the poorest quality of the three, but we are talking about kalashnikov type rifles. They are supposed to rattle when you shake them :D

Got this two weeks ago at Scott's Outdoor Sports in Jay, FL.

It is an IO, INC. parts gun, stamped receiver....$599....one mag.
What is your impression of the build quality? I've seen a few of those on gunbroker, but haven't been able to find much info on Google aside from a poorly designed distributor website.

The WASR does what an AK does. We aren't talking about AR's or a Blaser here, we are talking about a rifle with a very low point of diminishing returns unless you are looking for craftsmanship. For me in appreciating the AK type weapons the basis is in understanding what these weapons have been best at since day one: blunt instruments. Most everything beyond that, all of the rails, lights, milled receivers, and other crap that gets hung off of them, is besides the point. Someone said "minute of man". Bingo.
