Hoo-Haw!

Does a bear in the woods? Unfortunately, like most things that are really, really fun........they're illegal in CA. :banghead:

$98 per 20? Maybe I'd pass...initially. If it were 1/2 that price or twice that amount, I'd think about it. It would be fun to see he koosh-boom

my guy sells something simolar here in illinois and it legal , there fun to shoot especially when you hid them behind someones target and they don't know ... :scrutiny: :scrutiny: I wanted to bag them for doing that it was one of my best targets to date .:banghead:

Heard so much about these from a friend. He brought some to the range, mixed up a batch and then shot hit with his AR 15. Nice boom and a little cloud of dust. It was okay and we had a good time but a tad expensive in my opinion. Had more fun in my youth with m-80's and cherry bombs.

$5 - 8.50 each

At that price probably not. Maybe if the display included a video showing how they work.

Those cheapie bullz-i targets work just fine. Gerat fun to put on the back of someones target at an indoor range.:what:
We also put them on the front of pumpkins for the x-plodin pumpkin shoot in the fall .

I think they would be best for pranks. Like: check out these new exploding tip bullets! :what:

Or, rig one at the base of a sapling about 100yds out and get your buddy to bet that you can't hit the little tree, then watch the tree blow into the air.

Stuff like that.

When shooting with kids, reactive targets are best-specially for the younger shooters. I know of no better reaction from either target or kid than KABOOM! No, we don't blow up the kid, but the reaction is close. Spendy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely, although we now reserve them for special treats and rewards.

wolf I don't know all I know is that there was little flaming shreads of paper flying eveywhere .. I was doing pretty good till I got to the bottom of the 7 ring where they hid it .

I love those things! They are without a doubt, the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Walking tracers onto one with a Browning .30 cal was the highlight of my day last month last July. Better than the movies.

Part of our responsibility as gun-loving Americans is introducing new shooters to the shooting sports. Part of that involves getting them "hooked" the first time out. You don't punish them with heavy calibers. You start them light and let them work their way up. You ALSO give them "instant gratification". What I mean by this is that you give them something like a reactive target. Don't make them wait until they are done shooting to walk all the way to the target to check to see where their rounds landed. As they progress they can do that. Give them a REACTIVE target like a spinner or, in this case, an exploding target. Imagine the potential for getting a new shooter hooked with something like this!

Probably not. No where to shoot them around here without worrying about burning the place down even if I do have a car extinguisher.

Sportsmansguide has run a sale on them recently.

I can't post the link, but search on exploding targets.
