The wife & I went last year for the first time...Estimate around 125 attended.
With the efforts of my wife and some other dedicated individuals, along with the Cook County "assault Ban", those numbers were swollen to over 1200 last Wed.
It was a great feeling to see the halls of Congress liberally (should I use that term)coated with I-gold shirts and buttons.
What a great bunch of people!!! We wish we could have just "hung" with the crowd instead of having to mess with politicians.
It is our hope to keep those folks involved all year long and try our best to whip this battle...It looks dark but we do see a glimmer of hope occasionally.
Of interest, my wife lead a charge (pic #1) of about 40 women into Gov. Baglavitch's office and presented their petition (pic #2) for Concealed Carry. Then they went to Michale Madigan's office and followed up with Evil Jones' office. Oddly enough, none of those folks were there that day!
