here's an idea, not original with me. Dig a moat all along the Mexican border. Use the dirt to build up the lavees in New Orleans. Fill the moat with Florida alligators. Any other problems?
 
I like it. You would have some well-fed gators!

My idea was to make the 11million illegals build the fence and when it was finished, throw them back over it and lock the gates. :D
 
Where would the water come from to fill the moat? I don't imagine that salt water would be a good thing to have infiltrating into the underground aquafers and the alligators probably wouldn't care for it either. Also seems like a long and expensive move to truck the dirt to NO, assuming, of course, the dirt was suitable for levee-building.

So import some Salties from Oz. They have no problems with salt water.

Unfortunately such will never happen, too many issue with introducing a non-native species into a fragile ecosystem. Besides, Hippos are more dangerous than crocodilians. :evil:
 
Isn't there already some sort of Rio Grande river that they already manage to cross?
 
All we need to do is create “The North American Canal”. It could run from the Pacific Ocean to the Golf of New Mexico and have hydroelectric dams along the route for clean, cheap and renewable energy.

A friend at work tried to argue that "walls don't work".

I reminded him of The Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall and the 38th Parallel.

Walls work really well if you shoot and kill anybody who comes near them.
 
Great idea guys! Murdering people in cold blood! Sounds like a solution to the border problem! One issue though.. we have something about due process in America that keeps us from summarily executing people. How do you plan on getting around that?
 
Well they're not Americans, so they shouldn't have any protections under our Constitution. (I've heard this suggested by several people.)

So let's hear some of your ideas. :scrutiny:

Since you've mentioned Vicente Fox, I got a question.

These are HIS people that are causing this problem. Why does OUR CONGRESS have to do something about it? Why does AMERICA have to do something about it? Why doesn't FOX do something about it?

I'll tell you why. I bet it's because he's getting a big slice of that $20Billion dollars that those 11million illegal immigrants send back there every year. :cuss:

Wow.. just wow.
You do realize that the consitution applies to more than just citizens right?
If the constitution only applied to citizens, the gov't could easily strip you of the title of "citizen" and you'd have nothing to fall back on when they decided to limit your freedom of speech, take all your guns, or search your house just because

And maybe someday we'll be able to trace the pathway of all those billions of narco-bucks through both Mexico and the U.S.

The gov't can't excommunicate you of your citizenship that easily. A citizen has to go before a government official and renounce their citizenship.
 
With all those alligators in the moat.....

we would have to change their name from wetbacks to damp feet......they surely would learn to walk on water.........Uh, these people are illegal aliens.........they are conducting an illegal invasion of our country. Strong measures are necessary......chris3
