Hey Ryan - Anyway, sorry for the delay. I went to the range this weekend and had a chance to compare and break in my Glock19 and my Kel-tec p3at. Survey says! No problems with either of them, the recoil from the kel-tec is a little nippy. There is no pain in shooting it what so ever but I found the tripper pull to be way too long (the only sort of safety that it offers), that changed my shot placement but could be worked on. I was actually very suprised that it was so easy to control and keep on point. I thought because the thing only weighs about 8 oz. that I was going to have trouble keeping it on target. Anyway, I don't have any regrets about getting that firearm, though I would really like the Colt Government .380 but they are way too expensive and the two that my father has are unfired (hence very collectable). Anyway, the Glock19 stole my heart as soon as I fired off a full 33 round magazine. I don't think there is any way to carry it in the summer, unless you're a big guy but any time you can wear an overshirt you'd be a-ok. The recoil was very minimal even with the gold-dot ammunition and it was easy to stay on target.. I could even switch up my stance and move while shooting and keep them fairly square. I am going to get to class but I will post more this evening.
