Not long ago I stopped in at a local pawn shop to pick up some DVD movies.
This pawn shop had over 200 DVDs and they were on sale for $2 each. After looking through them I found 7 movies I wanted. I paied for the movies and was about to head out the door. When the pertty young lady that works there said to me, "Your not going to look at the guns today?" I thought what the hell and walked to the back of the shop. They had some nice guns in stock and a Remingtom 552 Speedmaster cought my eye. The tag had $139 on it. It really needed to be cleaned up and would have been a good buy for a project rifle, but I already have a 552 in good shape and really don't need another project gun.
There were several Ruger 10/22s, new and used, but the stainless steel one with the longer barrel cought my eye. It looked like the tag had $199 on it and I really didn't want to buy a gun that day. The young lady asked if I would like to look at it and I said yes. Well I was wrong about the price on the tag. It said $159, but I still didn't really want to buy a gun. But then I heared the words falling out of my mouth, "Can you work on that price?"
What was I doing? I really didn't want to buy a gun!
She looked at the tag and said, "I can let you have it for $130 out the door." With a sweet smile on her face.
Well I'm a sucker for pertty girls and guns at great prices, so I bought it.
Oh! here are the movies I picked up too. Not bad for $24.
